Seeking God

front cover - Seeking God.jpg

If you have a desire in your heart to seek the Lord, it is a sign that God is drawing you to Himself. It is God Himself who puts the desire in our hearts to seek His face. After a person is born again, their entire life is a life of pursuing God.
This brief booklet will show you how you can use the Scriptures to seek after the Lord. There are many verses in the Bible that convict us of sin, exhort us to obedience, teach us how to live, walk with God and worship Him. We can use these verses to guide us when we pray and to help us to seek after the Lord. Seeking after God should be the highest priority in our lives.

FROM THE AUTHOR

When I began to pray through the Bible, it literally changed my prayer life. There were times in the past where I found myself struggling to pray for more than 15 or 20 minutes. Even when I used a prayer list, it was difficult to know what to pray and how to pray. But when I started to use the Scriptures to guide my prayer time and to stir my soul in its pursuit of God, everything changed. Now my prayer times are filled with using God’s own words to speak them back to Him as I commune in my heart with the Lord. I find it spiritually refreshing to use the Bible as my prayer book.
